Scholastic Scrimmage Champs

In the Championship match, #1 Pleasant Valley faced off against #3 Stroudsburg. STR, already warmed up from their 1st match, jumped out to a 70-50 lead after round 1. PV dominated the 60 Seconds round with 7 correct answers in "Geology" to STR's 4 correct in the mystery category ("Finish the Sentence"). PV also 'picked up' 3 more questions than STR did and took a 160-120 lead. The final round belonged to STR, as PV did not have a correct answer. STR needed 4 correct answer for a tie, however only came up with 3. PV survived the STR 3rd round onslaught to win the MVC title 160-150.
